Bar Manager

Can you see yourself in a role with a lot of responsibility and a high degree of autonomy? We value a candidate who is largely self-driven, thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys having many projects in the air. You will be in charge of our bartending team, purchasing and executing events in your day-to-day work. Furthermore, you will have a strong influence on menu composition and the development of new products and concepts. We expect you to have previous bar management experience and to have min. 2 x 4 years experience as a bartender as a minimum. About the role

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • You need to order items and make sure that our stock is full and updated at all times;
  • You will be in charge of shift planning and be responsible for the bar staff according to payroll and care;
  • You will be the driving force behind organising various events with partners and sponsors;
  • Provide great customer service and help create the great guest experience;
  • Maintain a cool head in sometimes hectic situations without compromising your professionalism and quality;
  • Generally ensure that the bar, staff and cocktails always live up to the high standards our guests expect.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • You are organised and take pride in staying ahead of your tasks, anticipating challenges and acting accordingly;
  • You are up to date on the latest trends in the industry and can incorporate them into your daily tasks;
  • You must have a good overview and be good at keeping many balls in the air;
  • You will be highly motivated by creating the best experience for the customer while being a good team player.

Required competencies/knowledge/skills:

The position requires at least 2 x 4 years experience from an international bar chain or hotel chain which does not a high customer experience. It requires a high level of experience and a solid insight into running a bar with a high level of service and with high ambitions. In order for you to be offered the position, we must be able to contact at least 3 or 4 references who are your former direct manager. We are quite thorough in our reference work and if you will not be able to assure us of this, you do not need to apply for the position. You will also be required to undergo a series of interviews with our experts who will draw up a behavioural and personality profile. The position also requires you to have a clean criminal record.

Salary and benefit:

An employment contract is offered based out of Copenhagen, salary is negotiated according to qualifications.
